There is a bar and grill in town 2 blocks from the river. I liked the food.
The elevation of the bar is not much more than the top of the ramp.
I met a guy there who worked on a Missouri River dredge for over 10 years.
This year(2002) I talked to a guy who work on a dredge for 6 years. He pointed the Article
about Royal Tate who was Dredge Captain. He had every turn in the Missouri River memorized
and had atleast one story for each curve. I hope to talk to him soon.
They are on the Katy Trail and will have an event the second Saturday in June.
