On the Gasconade river. I-70 to Hermann exit 175. Take Hwy 19 through Hermann to Hwy F
Right(west) turn. Take Hwy F west to Hwy W Left(south) turn. Take Hwy W southwest to Bay
North(right) on highway K. Hwy K turns into gravel road CR 230. There is a sign on top of hill
annoucing Held Island Rd. The entrance to the access is several miles later with a MDC sign
is close to the top of a hill.
