Southwest of Yankton SD. I-29 to Vermillion exit 26. West on Hwy 50 to Yankton. Hwy 50
becomes Hwy 52 when it crosses Hwy 81. Follow Hwy 52 to the sign that marks the dam.
Toe Rd is just to the east of the road that runs on the dam. Toe Rd runs along the bottom
of the dam
past the RV park with showers
by the spillway where a lot of people fish
along the river to the ramp.
