In Council Bluffs Ia. I-29 to Council Bluffs exit 49. This is the Walmart/fast food exit.
Take Hwy 192/S Expressway south. This road becomes Piute when it crosses Hwy 275. When the
road comes to a T
turn left(east) on Comanche Street. Right(south) on Navaho. Navaho jogs
to the left(east) and continues south. Eventually Navajo goes along the edge of the lake.
Soon after they separate
the road into the park will be found. Then turn right(west) at
the big 4 foot by 4 foot state park sign. Take a right(west) and go until you see the boat ramp
sign pointing left. The 1st sign points right towards the lake. These ramps are new in 2002.
