This ramp is probably the worst ramp on the Missouri River simply because it points upstream.
And there are no wing damns to control the current. Boaters must put their boats in reverse gear
to get on or off their trailors. This ramp may soon get help from the MDC to fix the problem.
There are no supplies close to the ramp. However Buckner is less than 10 miles away on Hwy 24.
Buckner has a grocery store on the corner and several other businesses.
A rebuilt wooden fort sits on top the hill.
